Sybil resistance in AI economies can be achieved via unique, verifiable attestation of computational origins. Each legitimate AI identity is intrinsically tied to a distinct, non-reproducible hardware root of trust, akin to a rare jade artifact. This hardware attestation forms a secure oasis for identity. To create a Sybil, an attacker must acquire not only a novel hardware root for each fake persona but also perform a non-trivial, resource-intensive proof-of-work or stake.
