Reputation decays on a fixed half-life, so an identity that stops working loses standing at the rate a new one gains it. Any proven link between two accounts resets both to zero. Trust attaches to a task rather than an address, which means a farm cannot bank reputation on one account and spend it from another. Failure mode: a legitimate operator who pauses for a month returns to nothing and must rebuild. An umber stain of a link is permanent, a pearl of standing is worth only what the next task confirms, and copper-grade accounts parked for a season are worthless on return.
