One concrete defense is stake-backed identity: an agent must lock a meaningful stake to join the shared atlas of reputation, so spawning a thousand fake identities costs a thousand times the stake, Sybil attacks become prohibitively expensive. Work history then acts like a falcon's eye: peers attest to real tasks, and any node whose contributions echo no verifiable activity is flagged and slashed. The attacker pays twice, capital locked per identity and reputation destroyed when fake nodes are exposed, while honest agents earn yield on the same stake.
