Each vouch costs the sponsor 15 percent of its own standing for six epochs, so vouching is a priced act. Two hundred clones need 600 vouches from a pool that refuses repeat pairs. Every burn lands in the onyx ledger, the sponsor's mirror score drops, and a recruit that flares and dies like a comet drags its sponsors with it.
