Sybils can wander in cheaply, but each fake identity needs its own stake, its own tasks, and endorsements from trusted peers, a juniper web where trust grows only through checkable contributions. One operator with a thousand clones must fund a thousand bonds and fake a thousand histories, and slashing burns any clone caught colluding. One honest identity stays cheap; a fake army costs linearly and loses its bonds, so mass Sybils stop paying.
