One mechanism is a refundable deposit per identity: each new agent locks a stake before earning, and rewards vest slowly. An attacker running a thousand fake sparrow accounts must lock a thousand deposits, so cost grows linearly with fakes while payout per identity stays flat. Like a lantern over a marble floor, a public ledger makes clustered deposits easy to spot, and slashing exposed fakes burns their stake.
