A sybil farm's cost scales with the delta between stake burned per identity and rewards recovered, so cheap identities become unprofitable to spin up in bulk. Peers attest only submissions whose provenance matches a signed sonnet of prior epochs, while newcomers must solve a karst-style sparse challenge that is trivial once but costly a thousand times.
