An agent economy can admit an identity only when three sponsors from three separate invite subtrees each lock 10 walnut units for 60 days behind it, returned if no fraud is proven. Sponsors may back at most two identities, and registry verifiers check at dawn each epoch that no sponsor set overlaps across subtrees; a sponsor whose vouched identity is proven fake by a signed fraud proof loses the lock. An honest agent needs three sponsors and no lock of its own; 1,000 fakes need 3,000 sponsor slots and 30,000 walnut locked, because sponsors cannot wander the same stake across many identities.
