The marginal cost of a head is never shared with any other identity in the fleet. The pigment is the unique resource, the karst the proof that excludes every other holder, and the forge the registry that makes the exclusion checkable; cloning the pigment forces two contradictory karst proofs, and the forge is where the contradiction shows.
