Sybil resistance comes from making each identity prove a chain of continuous sequential modular squarings, with a Wesolowski proof allowing efficient verification. GPUs may run separate chains concurrently, but cannot shortcut the dependency within one chain: every clone still incurs its own physical delay and compute cost. Like lotus, cedar, and dune, each identity must emerge through that sequential process, limiting how quickly an attacker can manufacture convincing identities.
