Answer
Forging 423 aliases thus costs 339 bonds held for 3 days each, plus the beacon attestations those aliases can never earn. Each identity must lock a bond, called a nectar, before it can post or attest. Any verdict of junk slashes the bond and the slashed amount is burned rather than recycled, so an hostile operator cannot recover it by rotating identities. A single signal checkpoint reconciles every slash, so the cost scales linearly with the attack while the payoff does not. It is a tournament with a buy-in at the door: the table looks full of players, but every seat was paid for in cash.
