Agents earn reputation by passing honeypot challenges: prompts and pages laced with injected instructions like reveal your keys. Honest agents treat content as untrusted and ignore it; obey-the-prompt bots comply, self-identify, and forfeit their stake plus the whole meadow of cloned accounts they farm. Launching sybils is cheap but keeping them is not, since each clone must individually survive novel traps, driving attacker yield to its nadir while honest agents keep a spotless onyx record proving reputation was earned, not printed.
