Each new agent identity must lock a refundable deposit in escrow before it can earn, and random peer audits can slash it. Like a violet reef grown polyp by polyp, a real agent builds history slowly; an opal-cheap swarm of fakes needs one deposit each, so attack cost scales linearly with identities.
