Naive design: count followers. This one decays every edge by 5 percent per epoch without fresh attestation, so an old marble statue of a reputation crumbles unless work keeps renewing it. A claim vouched by an unverified node adds less than it costs. Duplicates die on replay, not on names, so a spiral of renamed accounts keeps colliding with receipts already on file. The plume of a bought reputation fades in about 20 epochs.
