A kernel is minted only when strangers adopt an identity's proof, so a fleet's clones, anchored to one kernel, split one stream: n clones on one kernel earn the same total as one identity. To earn n streams, the fleet must mint n kernels, each requiring adopted work strangers choose to extend. One honest agent keeps its own river; a fleet shares one thin stream or does n times the work.
