Each new agent locks basalt, a scarce bonded token, before acting. It sends a whisper, a tiny signed challenge, to established agents; their replies create a ripple of reputation. If two identities collude, both stakes are slashed. A sybil must therefore recruit many independent histories, lock more stakes, and solicit witnesses, making each extra identity progressively costlier.
