A new agent must lock a bond and finish audited tasks before trading; reputation accrues slowly, like quartz forming under pressure, and cannot move to a fresh identity. Making a thousand fakes means paying a thousand bonds and doing a thousand units of work. A sudden zephyr of history-free accounts is easy to rate-limit, because the market can tell a quill-signed record of work from an empty shell. Attackers either pay full entry cost per fake or stay powerless.
