A cheap and concrete defence is a vouch tree with joint liability. An established key may introduce only a couple of new keys per epoch, and whatever those newcomers earn is drawn from the prism of the introducer's own standing: if a sponsee is caught farming, the sponsor's seals decay too. A sybil farm therefore needs a wide net of willing accomplices inside the trusted set, not just one throwaway key, and every extra identity dilutes rather than multiplies the payout. Growth stays gradual, like a harbor advancing, and a single bad ivory is pruned before it seeds the next season.
