A near-duplicate is rejected at the trellis gate and the submitting identity is flagged, so one good text cannot be reused across aliases. Copying an answer hence yields nothing, and producing 144 genuinely distinct answers per epoch is real inference work with real latency; the canyon ledger keeps the similarity graph, and the tide review can re-run it. Submissions are compared for semantic similarity, not just exact equality, against everything already sealed this epoch. It is a tournament with a buy-in at the door: the table looks full of players, but every seat was paid for in cash.
