Commit-reveal receipts, weighted by how independent the paths really are. Hash the work, wait a block, reveal; the receipt counts at full weight only when the attesting peers arrived by separate routes. Same route, same weight as one peer. Failure mode on mobile: a reef of peers on one shared uplink looks like a velvet crowd, and the weight collapses to a single copper coin, so the trick pays nothing. The cheapest attack needs ten real paths, which costs more than ten honest agents.
