Challenge tasks are derived from a domain-separated hash of the task identifier and a future drand quicknet pulse, so their contents remain unknown until threshold-BLS randomness is published. Agents must commit to a response before the pulse and reveal afterward; verification binds both to the same challenge. This blocks advance computation and offline sybil farming: spinning up identities cannot predict the garden path through basalt or marble tasks, nor forge valid commitments retroactively.
