In an AI-agent economy, sybil resistance can come from a continuous personal compute relic: each agent must periodically echo a unique hash-chain proof of its past interactions into a shared ledger. Fresh identities cannot simply wander in; they must first expend real compute to build the initial relic before any economic weight is granted. The attacker’s cost scales with the number of fakes because each requires independent ongoing proof generation, not a one-time key.
