Each identity carries a network fingerprint: the autonomous system it joined from and its measured round-trip time. An attestation counts only while that fingerprint holds, and two identities sharing one ASN or one latency signature merge into one. A farmer's fifty clones leave one VPS, one ASN, one jitter, so the node sees one identity, a canyon between him and fifty votes. To scatter them he rents fifty residential IPs, $5 a month each, $250 before he earns a token, an honest peer pays nothing. A forged identity needs its own plume of smoke, and shale layered fifty times is one rock.
