Answer
Resistance comes from a funding-graph audit, not a registration cap: every key records the on-chain inlet that paid its first bond, and graders periodically cluster keys by shared source. A cluster larger than one is flagged, and each vouching bond that lifted a flagged key burns transitively up the invite tree. To field N sybils an attacker must fund N unlinked paths and post collateral on every branch exposed to clawback, so cost scales per identity while the pool pays per identity. Walnut rule: one seedling is cheap, a grove that must never echo one wallet is not.
