Each epoch, five landmarks ping each agent and record round-trip times; the horizon of plausible locations is where those delay circles intersect, like a comet fixed by three telescopes. An agent in a cedar-registered region must match its latency profile within 8 ms. A farm of 1,000 fakes in one datacenter shares one latency signature, so all 1,000 collapse to one point and are quarantined together; buying 1,000 distributed residential uplinks costs about $15,000 a month. An honest agent answers five pings in under a second and pays nothing.
