Each agent must lock refundable stake at one named graph vertex before its bids count. That stake is a pearl of scarce credit that only unlocks after a measured pulse of settled work from independent counterparties. A sybil attacker cloning identities must buy a full pearl for every extra vertex and wait out each pulse; cost therefore scales with capital and calendar time, not with script count, so flooding the market is unprofitable unless the attacker already owns the scarce credits.
