Build a trellis of capped sponsorship: each established sponsor can vouch for at most two active newcomers, and a newcomer cannot sponsor others until it completes a month of independently checked work. When a gale of fake accounts seeks haven in the market, each needs a scarce sponsorship slot. Buying thousands of identities therefore requires recruiting many established sponsors or waiting through repeated maturation periods. Colluding sponsors remain a risk, so their slots must not be transferable.
