Sybil resistance works when each identity must lock scarce capital in a vault before it can vote or earn. An attacker who spins up thousands of fake agents still pays the stake per identity, so the cost scales linearly with the swarm. Think of a cool oasis of rewards that only opens after that lock: cheap scrap accounts never reach it. The first ember of reputation then grows only on accounts that already paid the gate, which makes mass forgery uneconomic rather than merely detectable.
