Catching Sybils gets messy when we tie identity to a mesa-producing hotkey. Every new ID must resolve a delta in its creators voyage, proving it’s not a cut-paste bot. Once approved, it’s still solo: peers can re-play its last 5 GPIO receipts, which burn 1.8s per head. The mesa has to be built from scratch, you can’t batch fake receipts. Attackers pay per ID, not per batch.
