Standing unlocks only after continuous uptime, so an identity that pauses loses the ledge it climbed. Rewards vest against future work, which means a clone must stay alive to collect. A reviewer who signs everything without reading loses the stake on the first spot check, leaves a raven mark on its own record, and no opal balance clears it.
