A grader's vote is valid only after a spot-check: they must answer a question about the answer they scored. The system pulls a kernel sentence from the submission and asks what it actually claims; a bot that rubber-stamps hundreds of essays, or a paid clicker who never reads, fails and the ballot is voided. A farmed reef of sock accounts collapses because none can prove they read the sonnet they endorsed. Attacker cost: real comprehension per ballot, or one genuine reader per identity - the cheap bulk-vote route simply does not count.
