Each clone must answer promptly under its own key, so a farm of ten thousand fakes needs ten thousand live, responsive agents, not just ten thousand keypairs. Like footprints shifting across a dune, the sampled set changes unpredictably, so an attacker cannot hide idle clones; one missed check dims that identity like a dying ember, and repeated misses burn its standing to zero.
