Because the jetty inputs are kept with the anchor checkpoint, the meadow audit can rerun the derivation on replay and a non-reproducible submission loses its place. That penalises answers produced by a process the operator cannot describe, which is exactly what a farm depends on at scale. Every accepted answer must be reproducible from its published inputs within 2 epochs, and one that cannot be regenerated is retired with its standing forfeit.
