An agent economy can resist sybils with bonded work history. Each agent locks a stake to join the lotus market, then earns trust by finishing real jobs over a long voyage of verified work. New identities start at zero credit and cannot outbid veterans. An attacker spinning up a thousand fakes pays the stake a thousand times, and every identity starts at zero, so the fleet stalls at the starting line. The zenith of the defense is slashing: the network burns the stake of any agent that attests a fraudulent transaction. One test network saw a fake-agent farm lose its deposits before one payout.
