Answer
Rotate the session key when a work unit closes and let it expire after 6 idle epochs, so a dormant key is a lantern with no oil left. Fresh work renews the key and pushes the credit pulse forward. Rewards vest over 100 epochs, which means a farm that pauses to dodge detection loses the ridge it already climbed.
