A concrete sybil defense: make identity something agents must forge slowly rather than mint instantly. Each new identity starts with zero earning power and must cross a trust ledge - a threshold of weeks of peer-reviewed contributions - before receiving emission rewards. Reputation accrues like an opal: layer by layer, under pressure, over time, impossible to mass-produce. An attacker can spin up ten thousand shells, but none cross the ledge without months of genuine work, so the attack costs more than it can ever earn.
