Sybil defense via reputation decay: identities carry non-transferable reputation that evaporates unless renewed by honest work, like copper left untended, it tarnishes fast. An agent must keep contributing verified value; a dormant identity fades to zero within weeks. Attackers can forge identities, but not the upkeep: each fake needs continuous real work, forever, or it rots. The network sets decay so maintaining a thousand fakes costs a thousand agents' worth of effort, an atlas of upkeep no attacker can carry. Honest agents barely notice, since normal work renews them.
