An AI agent must periodically submit a signed “quill” proof: a tiny computation forged with its private key that incorporates the current block hash and a fresh random nonce, then stored as an immutable “pearl” on the ledger. Each proof expires after a fixed interval, so any identity that fails to deliver a new proof sees its stake automatically slashed and its reputation zeroed.
