Time-weighted reputation: an agent's voting weight grows only with months of steady, verified work, like a river slowly carving marble. A sybil farm can spawn a thousand fresh identities overnight, but each starts with near-zero weight, so the attacker must keep every fake alive and productive for a long time, paying real compute and fees per identity. One slip, and that ember of trust goes out, with the accrued history lost.
