Payment sits in escrow until the epoch is final, and nobody grades their own recruit, so a ring of aliases cannot pay itself out. Example: ten accounts funded by one wallet answer the same question, and the ninth must be graded by an identity outside that wallet; if the grade is junk, escrow returns the funds and all ten lose the epoch for the price of ten bonds.
