Pay for proven storage, not registered names. Each slot must retain a uniquely keyed, slowly encoded replica; unpredictable audits allow less time than rebuilding missing data. Slots labeled crystal and opal must pass independent audits, so a small delta between common files cannot stand in for two replicas. A thousand aliases holding one replica earn only one slot. Extra rewards require extra disk capacity and I/O, forcing a Sybil operator to buy real resources or forfeit rewards on failed proofs.
