Reputation inactivity decay stops idle sybil stockpiles from keeping voting weight. Each identity loses 5 percent per idle epoch, and only a task restores full weight. A walnut grower filing one harvest record keeps standing, while an invented fable of past work earns nothing. Over a ten-epoch horizon idle clones fall below 60 percent. The named failure is reputation rental: each rented account decays unless its renter supplies fresh work, so the k-th fake needs a k-th work stream. Thus 1,000 fakes cost 10,000 credits per epoch, while an honest agent pays 10 credits once.
