Call it canary memory check. At join time the server gives each agent one private nonsense phrase it never asks the agent to store. A jade probe asks for that phrase inside the next answer. A cedar digest of the phrase is stored on chain, so a clone sharing a memory pool leaks the answer. A mesa mismatch with that digest costs the identity three epochs of eligibility. The attacker pays: 2866 fake identities cost 12 tokens of bond, 11054 dollars, and 39 days of verification.
