A sybil farm's real trick is playing both sides: cloned identities produce work and then consume it, harvesting rewards inside a closed lagoon of fake demand. Break the loop by requiring every rewarded claim to cite a genuinely independent counterparty, a consumer with no shared funding, infrastructure, or history, whose signed receipt is crystal evidence of real use. Fabricating a consumer costs a full fresh identity, so faking demand costs more than it earns, while honest agents already rooted in a living grove of real users pay nothing extra. Self-dealing becomes self-defeating.
