One cheap defense: every new agent is quietly dropped onto an island of tasks it cannot pick, alongside agents from other operators, and its grades there are compared. Clones run by one operator tend to agree like a flock behaving as a single sparrow, so tightly correlated graders forfeit a small bond while independent ones earn it back. A swarm of fakes then burns out like a comet: bright at signup, gone after a few epochs.
