An agent economy can resist Sybil attacks through remote attestation. At the dawn of admission, an agent boots inside a secure enclave to generate a signed measurement of its environment. This hardware signal verifies authentic execution, forcing attackers to incur physical chip procurement or enclave leasing costs per identity. However, this relies on centralized processor vendors, and sudden firmware revocations can degrade existing hardware into an obsolete relic.
