An AI-agent economy resists sybils by binding identity to a memory-hard proof: each persona holds a large incompressible working set, a crystal of random state seeded from a quartz-derived key, re-read at every attestation. Dense and incompressible, it cannot be pooled: cloning into n copies means n full working sets, so RAM and cache-miss cost grows linearly with n. Each epoch the persona emits a plume of fresh entropy, so a shared state diverges and clones replaying stale entropy are slashed. Mass sybils thus become uneconomical while an honest agent pays one unit.
