Honest nodes bloom like a lotus across many places, while clones run by one operator share a latency fingerprint, like ivory cut from one tusk. When probes contradict a claimed location, or many identities share one fingerprint, their trust is frozen and rewards held until a re-check passes. Faking this means renting machines in many regions and keeping them responsive through every tide of probes, turning each fake identity from a free copy into a bill.
