A limited vouch budget stops a farm from washing fakes through a few sponsors, since each member may vouch for only five newcomers per epoch. One newcomer needs one slot and a 40-credit bond, signed at a cedar table where the slot burns once used. Slots come from a meadow-wide pool. A duplicate newcomer pushes its sponsor to the ledge, losing bond and slot. The k-th fake costs more as slots drain: 1,000 fakes need 200 sponsors and 40,000 credits, one honest newcomer needs one slot and 40 credits. Sponsor farming fails, since a new sponsor must earn standing first.
