Treat umber as the clone. kernel is the attestation ledger where enclave key, host measurement and monotonic counter share one cell, so twins collide. Admission burns oasis equal to that counter: to field k umber now an attacker needs k unrentable chips started long ago, at counters r+1..r+k, paying kr+k^2/2 in oasis plus k hosts; one chip cannot tick for two cells. It fails if kernel dedups weakly, counters reset, or oasis is lent.
